Cool. And not super delayed... compared to how long some people take answering work emails... such as me.

@LiveForever I got a 2 hour response time to an email yesterday. I was quite happy with that. :P

@hichris123 (I just opened up the pdf for the first time in a long time... apparently I just linked to the question number. :\ )

:/ Theoretically that's a grey area since for CC-BY you only need to link to the page (does the id count as a link? shrug maybe I should ask a law lawyer...)

:\ Ok
The PDF links to the page. :P
The hardcopy obviously doesn't.

Oh that would work.
yeah.

12:04 AM
I intended it to be more of a memento than something to share with people, so I didn't expect it to be an issue.
But, since people were talking about if they could do similar-ish things, I thought I'd at least share what my final result was.

Background reading on why the attribution requirements may not be enforceable:

A: Does the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike licence allow you to specify exactly how attribution must be given?

chapkaThe Stack Exchange "requirement" of a particular type of attribution is unlikely to be enforceable, given the terms of the CC BY-SA license. The actual Creative Commons license, the part that governs the relationship between the parties, is the "legal code" license agreement. The CC BY-SA agreem...

But you still post on Math occasionally, don't you? Should have been: Volume I.

@LiveForever :P Mayyybe. I've almost entirely ceased activity on StackExchange because of classes and general busyness. I do post an occasionally, but there's just so many terrible questions that finding a good one to answer is somewhat difficult (especially with my level of knowledge).

Yeah, and they don't let you flag to close on that site (on other questions, where applicable.) Site's messed up. :)

I don't see anything wrong with their flagging dialog. Just closeflagged something as too broad.

Only shows 3 options, not the usual 5 for low-rep users.

On the above question, sure - since it's closed. On all others I see all the usual options.

maybe we should have a check on the CI for that.
If it detects an unescaped \ in findspam.py or something like that.

How will you detect that? A Python string can contain \b, it's the backspace character.
A bunch of strings there (those with more complex regexes) are raw, with unescaped backslashes.
