In the hope to find some SuperUser mods in here: At Android.SE we lately get several migrated questions from SU which do not really fit, e.g. Google Nexus S broken glass (hardware repair/how to fuse glasses is not really an Android specific question, and would be closed as off-topic). May we friendly request "better checks" (ask in out chat room when in doubt)?

@Izzy: Post a meta question, and we can point people at it when they're silly
Also, feel free to reject those

@JourneymanGeek Wuff. I cannot reject them: while being the member with highest rep at ASE, I'm not a mod. The topic just came up in our chat, so I volunteered to drop you a note here.

@Izzy: Oh that's fine. Normal members can post on meta too. And well, you can always close vote

I remember we had that topic already in the past for a few times.

closed migrations = rejections
ah hah!

@JourneymanGeek Close-voting after a migration is a last resort only (makes the OP feeling stupid/annoyed). Better stick to the rules like "don't migrate crap" :)
@JourneymanGeek What? You'd already expected me writing something like that? #D

@Izzy: mod migration it seems so I let the mod in question know

@JourneymanGeek Wait: You say when there's something migrated to site B and gets closed on B for e.g. being off-topic, that doesn't result in the question being closed but in the migration being rejected?
@JourneymanGeek Yes, please :)

Thanks a lot!

Tho that's not on topic anywhere

Yeah, there are such questions which don't fit any SE site. So don't dispose them on "some other", but sort them to trash :)
Don't need to tell you about SR, you will keep an eye for those migration-candidates already :)
(in preparation for the day SR leaves beta)

lol. I migrate surprisingly few questions that way ;p

Didn't say it was you. But in case some SU mod does migrate "crap" to SR, I don't need to drop you a note for that #D

;p
Do so anyway. I'll reject it personally
(I'm not on SR as much as I should be. so.. yeah)

LOL OK, friendly reminder resulted in bad conscience #D
At least on SR one always finds a mod in chat. Same cannot be said about Android.SE, unfortunately – though I'm sure they monitor the "transcript".
OK, @JourneymanGeek – thanks a lot again for your help! I unfortunately lack the time to bring that up again on Meta for SU currently. Let's hope we got it tackled somehow – and if not, I still can raise it there later (though I'm pretty sure we did so already in the past).
Just as a short note to SU mods on Qs for migration to ASE: Android.SE is for end-user problems with Android – not for hardware that happens to run Android, and not for development (trying for a short and concise description) :)
See you at SR then :)

@Izzy thanks for the heads up.
(although the current trend seems to be migrate all the things and if crap, well then migration rejection takes care of that)
