Happy American Thanksgiving! So, just got called a “prick” by a user who has decided to “answer” a 2 year old question with an accepted answer by basically restating the accepted answer. superuser.com/a/845907/167207
@DragonLord I won’t make a judgement on judgements but if that’s appropriate, it seems hort enough and fair enough. A related question, this member deleted their comments. Can moderators see that? Is there a record of that? I know deleted questions and answers can be viewed by those with a high enough reputation, but just wondering about lowly comments.
And now it seems that the user sunk818 deleted the answer—and related comments—I linked to above and posted a new answer here. Class act! superuser.com/a/845928/167207
@JakeGould we've seen it – should be fine now, but if it continues, just flag. Maybe the user felt they were followed around since you acted on several of their posts.
@slhck Fair enough. I did “follow” the user only after being attacked. And I down voted a few past answers but also up voted a few others. Completely fair and transparent on my part. The user in question was clearly playing games and I will be wary of that user moving forward.
