@Tester101 no it's not - 4-5 feet of it are hindered by the fireplace mantel / bookshelves, when it gets to the ceiling, it makes a right hand turn and 3 feet through the first floor ceiling / 2nd floor floor, then another 3 or 4 feet up the 2nd floor wall - nothing in the basement is covered in abspestos so thats good

we're considering redoing the fireplace mantel / wall / bookshelves so we'll see. if i can get all of that out pretty easily, then the duct will be fully exposed / easier to take out - but, 1 project at a time.

1 more night on the shower tile hopefully

the wife spent 40 minutes ish giving me shit - looking at the 2 vertical tiles on either side of the mosaic - she was pissed their not staggered to each other - not understanding or not agreeing that we staggered them to the ones next to them - so the one on the left is staggered to the last one on the left wall and the 1 on the right is staggered to the one next to it to the right

dad and i think it looks good - we think them being on the same groute line per say makes the mosaic and pencil standout even more.
