@Mazura It's not the best answer, and borders on a comment, but we've had a lot of "this can't be answered with this information, please consider hiring a pro because of X" responses before. The key is to explain why the pro is needed, what steps can be taken by the individual, etc, and I think you've done that.
@BMitch My concern is more about eluding to the 'trick' which is dangerous and that someone will explain it if I don't. I don't think I should explain how to diagnose live equipment by jimmying contactors. But without that it is a comment.
@Mazura The suggestion on dangerous advice here in the past has been to say "here's something dangerous" rather than not saying it at all (or deleting answers with dangerous advice).
