Q: How do I cut lengths of wooden beading lengthwise?

OddthinkingI wish to replace some missing beading in a stairwell. I've only a limited amount of equipment and experience, but I figured I could get a mitre saw and some matching wooden edging and the right stain, and it would be a simple job to match the existing beading. When I went to buy some edging, I ...

Should this be migrated to woodworking? IMO it's OK here since it's a repair of part of the house.

Q: I built a house "pool house" on my villa - what would it be the technical term of the building?

TheBlackBenzKidI have built a small "pool type" house of my estate villa. The house has a separate entrance; so where I enter the villa via my secure gates; the villa sits on the side. It has separate rooms and is completely closed off from my garden; you can only enter it from the street; I plan to rent it out...

Do we want this?

@NiallC. I think the table saw question belongs here, no need to migrate to woodworking.
@NiallC. I'm not a fan of the building name question. Maybe English.SE, but that may be a stretch.

@BMitch Agreed. I intend to write a meta post about what should be migrated and what should stay. Life keeps chewing up all my free time though.

@NiallC. I denied the migration flag, since the question already had an accepted answer.
I agree that "What is this called?" type questions are generally off topic here, unless you're asking for the proper name of a tool.
There's a few examples of the "What is this tool?" questions on the site, and they seem to be well received.
"What should this building be called?" would fit better on a real estate, or maybe architect site.
We're here to help you build it, not tell you what it is.

@Tester101 I took @BMitch's suggestion and moved it to English Language & Usage. It's still open there, and has a couple of answers, so I'm calling it a win. :)
