Revised blog post. Why do links keep disappearing?

5 hours later…
6:23 PM
I'm going to have a paintbrush full of paint in a few minutes, so here's my PUT update. I'll go ahead and open it up and someone else can feel free to close it back down (or I'll close it if it's still open when I clean up).
Welcome to Project Update Thursday
Pulled some crown molding, mudded and taped a corner that was never taped since the house was built (WTF). Molding is back up and caulked.
Starting to prime the room, bookshelves have lots and lots of places that need paint.
I also pulled up the carpet in here before, screwed down the subfloor to eliminate squeaks, this will have the same wood floor as the living room across the hall (kitchen is in the middle of the two, so it will be the entire floor painted and flooring replaced by the time I'm done).
That's all I've got for this week, time to get back to painting.

6:59 PM
you've moved to another room on me, wow am I standing still, nice work

7:17 PM
Well, scroll up a bit to see my update.
Killed the offending wall. Blog post written.
What are you working on @BigHomie?

I'm upgrading the electrical in the basement and adding a subpanel to the detatched garage
been on a hiatus for a couple weeks due to 2 kids under the age of 3, and other real world responsibilities

I found that electrical always takes longer than anticipated.
Sent my kids to Poland with the Mother In Law for the bulk of the reno.

yeah, almost finished w/ my trench, then comes the fun part

Still working on the trench?

yep, pretty much done, just have to tunnel under some huge tree roots

7:21 PM
Got a phone conference at 3:30, so I might leave abruptly.
Use that.

XD this is my backyard afterall
@ChrisCudmore you mean I can seriously use that in really small amounts?
this is what I'm working with 1drv.ms/1jXRjn4
I've made more progress since the vid, but I think I show the roots in that one

In actual fact, I'd pull out the chainsaw and cut them. But I'd get in a Structural Tree Engineer to verify first.

7:46 PM
@ChrisCudmore that's a huge tree, I don't wanna kill it (just yet)
