Q: Do house rabbits depend more on sound or vision for warning?

James JenkinsIn the related question What is a rabbit's field of vision, range and visual acuity? we learn about a rabbits vision. This question is asking about what is the primary sense a house rabbit uses for danger warning eyes or ears. They have eyes on the side of their head, and those great big ears....

@AshleyNunn I don't expect every answer to have multiple references, but if 90% of the words in the answer come from references I expect there to be multiple sources.
@DerrickK. In those cases, I usually keep the best references open in different tabs (or in list) then I can list them all at the end of the answer as references. In this example I use links to related questions on pets to support different points in the answer, and at the end I list 3 external references that support the ideas.
But other times I will embed external links in the body supporting different points. In the end if you had to look at multiple places in your research you should try and include as many of the best ones as practical.

Q: Why do dogs like tongue clicking noises so much?

user3306356People, all seem to, know that dogs love the clicking tongue sound....a lot. When you want to get a dogs attention all you need to do is make this tongue clicking sound and they will come running over. What's the deal? Why do dogs love this sound so much?!

@JamesJenkins I think it is a little unrealistic to expect multiple links, especially depending on the actual questions. Also, if I just tell you based on my experience, you don't seem to expect me to back that up with links, so why the expectation that if I find one good link that can summarize whatever the poster needs, I also need to find more?

I mean I get that more detail is always better, and we want to avoid one line answers but expecting piles of research all of the time is unrealistic.

starsplusplusI often hear people talking about "candling" eggs to check if the animal inside is still alive or not. What is this and how does it work?

Q: Can you get a cat used to a new house by putting butter on their paws?

Vixen PopuliI was recently told a trick about how to get your cat used to a new house, after moving. The trick is to put butter on the cat's paws. The cats will lick the butter off their paws, and as they associate cleaning with places they like, they'll start associating the new house with a safe place. It'...

@AshleyNunn DerrickK is not writing answers base on experience, they are writing answers based on extensive research "I actually took into a great deal of research so it took me a while to figure out the best one"
