yes, I tried to make that clear. Please edit the question if it isn't as clear as it could be. You would think that this figure would be somewhere on the internet, but surprisingly, I have yet to find it. Given how much people discuss the matter, I find it hard to believe no one actually sat down with a kitchen timer and checked to see the exact duration.

@Nil I find it even harder to see the purpose of doing so, but to each their own.

@Nil I have a problem with this overall, especially the last two sentences. I see that you require no justification but please see the first two reasons I list in my answer below. it makes no sense to be comparing anime time to real world time.

@Nil Not really, I didn't say that, it is an acceptable question but the information gathered from it is next to useless for reasons I have already said. You also say that it is blatantly obvious it wasn't 5 minutes when it was explicitly stated to be 5 minutes in the official anime. We all know it felt longer but thats that. I also will leave my answer as it actually answered the original question I saw.

I get what you are asking, as I said in the comments, the bit that troubled me was that you said it was blatantly obvious that it wasn't 5 minutes when it was said to be in the anime
