Apparently something was slowly leaking memory all the way through the swap file, trashing memory left and right (when I did get to task manager, no process was using the disk and average disk response times were above 7 seconds)

...eventually Windows killed it.

It does not let you change the speed of the game all the time, there's just a turbo button

Define "benefit".

That said turbo speed is set to 30, that doesn't mean it'll go that fast I suppose.

@badp Oh, the *oid series has a speed up button you can pick the speed of and toggle on/off

If you mean important impacts and such, no. But there's a series of collectibles that you can get which do nothing other than be collected.

4x is usually the max I can make per-tile movements at. I use 8x for very very boring parts

@BenBrocka I may be trying those because I didn't like the part where loading save states is a DLC

Also, which capsule monster is the best? I liked the Holy/healing one, but since he's tier 3 he started using cure status instead of healing 75% of the time which makes him far far less useful

Though he heals for like 50% of Guy's HP when he actually feels the urge to do so

Anyway, the general good options are Flash, Sully, Blaze, and... whatever the dark one's name was.

Q: In a co-op game, what determines each player's hourly city income?

Is it the host's amount of controlled territory? Will joining another player who has controlled a lot of territory also affect my hourly income?

Flash gives you good healing and its thunder spells later on are really nice in tier M or 4, Sully can hit really hard and takes punishment pretty well, Blaze has Inferno at Tier M that does essentially the most damage of all the Capsule Monster attacks, and the dark one has a bunch of instant death moves at its disposal that are extremely nice later on. Though the latter two are pretty cowardly.

Does Tier M come before or after 4?

Tier M is a special tier that you get by feeding the monster a specific item at a specific tier. Which tier and which item is based on the monster in question (they're all the same kind of item, just different elements - you use opposite elements for the most of them, and the only neutral element item for Foomy).

@GraceNote Regardless, I was going to comment that I have recently acquired Awakening, and despite it continuing to kick my @#$* (Playing on Hard), I'm enjoying it immensely.

Also, there is a character named Sully, which is the most relevant bit, considering the previous conversation.

@BenBrocka Either is usable. Tier 4 is an angel that has an all-party heal, an all-party status-cure, and an all-enemy lightning attack. Tier M is a unicorn with a stronger all-party heal, an all-enemy physical attack, and a single target attack that is eventually lightning.

Statistically M is leagues better than 4 as well.

At the moment I really wish it would stop using the status cure

Or use it on people who actually have status effects

What's that? You have 1 HP and no status effects? Better heal status effects

Oh, of note, Sully and Gusto are "Soil" and "Wind" elemental, which since nothing in the game actually has Soil and Wind defense, they do good damage with their elemental attacks.

Q: Do earned upgrades affect party members in Nimble Quest?

The buffs specifically say that they apply to all party members. Let's say I've earned the 25% Attack Rate bonus on Ulrich, but I choose Bones as my party leader. Will Ulrich still have his Attack Rate bonus applied, or do the earned bonuses only apply to the selected leader?
