I lost a sniper to the giant robot things (can't recall name), and my other sniper was at 2 health. So I healed him up, and header to the boss with a damaged squad, which was also down a man... I started off really strong. Took out both the mutons with rift, and took the Final Boss down to 10 health with my Sniper (Bryan awesome Cave. Also, it would ahve been death... but my second shot missed.... with a 95% hit chance >.<). An assault brought him down to 5 with cover.

So the boss started off great... and then two of my soldiers were mind controlled. Thousands fucks all around.

The mind controlled soldiers gang up and kill one of my soldiers, and the other soldier is at half health because the ethereal decide to gang up on him. So I'm pretty much thinking "FML" right now, buuuuut I had a shot at the boss with a 60% hit chance... and it hit! Game over. Fuck yeah.

@RavenDreamer I never seen that, although I heard someone else complain about it. Does it reflect attacks?

So that was actually an Excellent playthrough. I lost one unit somewhat early on, and didn't lose anyone else until the final mission (one whihc seems to have died due to a glitch?)
