@BlindSpots I don't understand why this is off topic either. Meta consensus says that it's perfectly ok for questions to have a little back and forth commenting and there's no need to close just for that. That's why we have comments after all. Also, I was unable to find any mention about "esoteric" questions being off topic. (In fact, it seems like the opposite is true, since even webapps that have few users are on topic.)
