If there are any differing opinions on hardwarerecs.meta.stackexchange.com/q/766/743, please chime in! I interpreted the Help Center and previous Meta posts in order to come to my conclusion there, but I'm happy to hear if I've gotten it wrong! Thanks!

@JeffSchaller hmm I'd almost argue you're recommending a specific vendor/brand that can do it
just happens that the vendor is one guy in a garage

Yeah, that seems to be at the fuzzy edge of a "single, specific component", depending on how you squint at it
I'd love to get @Irsu85's opinion, since they're a regular in the Close-Review queue, but they're not pingable and this doesn't seem like "enough" to superping about.
I'm also stupidly curious if there's a problem with the asker creating a bounty on the Main site, not because I want more problems, but because it'd be an opportunity to learn another piece of trivia about how SE works. I hope I'm right and the "problem" is simply creating a bounty on a Meta site

I think they mean a bounty on the main site, and if its ok to
So two issues here, well 3
1) is a bespoke vendor recommendation on topic?
That's to say, for example, if someone wanted a cost no object pair of flight pedels - would we recommend some polish dude building stuff in a garage like arstechnica.com/gadgets/2015/01/… ?
2) what's the actual problem space for OP? since they're possibly not a keyboard nerd, would they be better off discussing options first - such as buying a hotswap keyboard and a sampler pack of switches, trying out various options based on the user's issues, then using that as a framework
and 2.5) do they really need a keyboard/keyboard builder or someone who works with folks with input difficulties?
( the first is what OP is asking, the second and third is what I think OP needs to know in reality)

man, we already went Meta, now you're going supermeta! :D

I know just enough to have questions but not answers :D
I don't actually think OP needs a mechanical tho

Re: 2, it seems like they've asked a question about the general keyboard problem itself, so we'll see where that goes

2:08 AM
but they need nerd levels of details
