DOL Motor Starter Modification Suggestion v0.1

Original operation:

1. Start operation - Start button pushed, L2 switch closed, motor started.

2. Stop operation - Stop button pushed, L1 switch opened, motor stopped.

Modification suggestion:

a. Insert NC relay switch L1', with new push button STOP'/RESET', before Terminal 95. In other words, L1 becomes L1 + L2 in series. Now, either of the two Stop/Reset buttons pushed stops the motor.

b. Insert a NO relay switch L2', with new push button START', in parallel with L2. Now either of the Start buttons pushed starts the motor.

To summarize, a. L1 become L1, L1' in series

b. L2 becomes L2, L2' in parallel.

c. Either L2, or L2' button starts motor; Either L1 or L1' stops the motor.
