@Amirmkr Yes, your step motor is too large. I usually start testing with current less than 1A, and my max was only 3A (yes, Micky Mouse toy projects).

@Amirmkr I found your comments in "Holding Torque" a bit confusing. I think we need to agree on the definitions of "Holding", "Stalling", "Detention", "Stationary", "Moving", before we move on.
