Yesterday, I received a letter from the IRS, stating that they never received my 2020 tax return. They did say that they have credited my tax payment, which they apparently did receive, they just need me to now file my tax return. The stupid thing about all this? I mailed my tax return and my payment check in the same envelope. How did they deposit my check and lose my tax return? Oh well, it could be much worse. :)
