hello who is the owner are questions about logic allowed
I have a question regarding logic specifically is there an algorithm that tells us if a string is a wff or not?
one way to define a wff is to use inetrsections but i dont like that a lot since it presupposes a notion of infinite sets which i dont like I think the entire point of logic is to build infinity from scratch
I wonder why its common in some logic texts?
eg Logic and structure
The one i prefer is the one in endertons text
