it is a .zip file with 3 files inside, if using windows 7 x64 bit (if not, sorry, can't help quick), make sure you have these three files in c:\windows\system32\drivers - they are the core keyboard drivers

Just select both in the world file and a depclean won't prune the sources.
@jokerdino Actually, gentoo was where I started (after some abortive attempts with Ubuntu and Mandriva) this was quite some time ago and I decided that if I wanted to learn properly, I was going to have to use gentoo, and make it my primary workstation
