1:01 PM
Grammarly says it currently has a readability score of 69
Hopefully I can keep that score
@AaronMiller have you read the discussion?

Ask me again in a few minutes

okay
@AaronMiller have you read the discussion?

Why, yes I have. What a coincidence that you would ask me this random question out of the blue after I have just finished doing so. Quite uncanny, I must say.

1:22 PM
Lyxal pushed a commit to Vyxal/Fresh-Beginnings: Create How.md

@pxeger have you read the discussion?

@VyxalBot the heading is duped?

Lyxal pushed a commit to Vyxal/Fresh-Beginnings: I copypasted everything from Grammarly, it's 11:26pm and I'm listening to flowey theme remixes. Shut up.

@lyxal whats a security exploit
give an example (if possible)

@lyxal so because of the code cleanup vyxal's not working anymore?

1:30 PM
@math no thats on a separate branch

@PyGamer0 Try it Online! previously would have been considered an exploit
@math yes
generators stopped working
things weren't being passed around properly
!!/run 1 10 r '5<; f

@lyxal ⟨1|2|3|4⟩

the clean up broke that

@PyGamer0 Shameless self-promotion: I have an explanation of the ACE that lyxal is talking about here

!!/version
?
what version of virus the bot is running
@lyxal ^

1:40 PM
!!/ version
with space?

uhh i meant vyxal not virus stupid autocorrect

44 mins ago, by lyxal
a few commits after v2.5.2

Lyxal pushed a commit to Vyxal/Fresh-Beginnings: Update contributing.md

@PyGamer0 The bot's run command just queries the online interpreter, so they both use the same version.

why is the branch called Fresh-Beginngs (its long)

1:51 PM
because it is a fresh beginning for vyxal

hard-reset?
restart
reset or rewrite

Starting from scratch
Rewrite

not everything though, but the vast majority (and the main components)

how do you convert number to a unicode character

as in chr?
C on a number will turn a number into a character by calling chr

2:03 PM
C converts numbers to characters and characters to numbers

@hyper-neutrino Try it Online!

!!/run ⟨72|101|108|108|111⟩C, `Hello`C,

request to turn a flat list of integers directly into a string
would that be better? or is consistency in the behavior better

Yep, that's literally the entire reason I'm here

2:14 PM
shooot i had a streak of coming on cgcc for 51 days

i lost it i thought it counts if you visit the chatroom

it's site specific
why would it work anywhere other than the specific site lol

3:09 PM
AMiller42 opened issue #192 in Vyxal/Vyxal: `~` command is broken

@AaronMiller ~ is "filter by" for monads and "don't pop" for dyads, does that solve this issue?

@hyper-neutrino It doesn't do either of those things for either monads or dyads. Also, I forgot that it says that, but I also don't know why it says that, since as far as I know it has always functioned as "don't pop" regardless of the arity. Unless I've just never used it for monads. I'll check real quick.

def dont_pop(function, vector):
    if function.stored_arity == 1:
        vector.append(vy_filter(function, pop(vector)))
    else:
        vy_globals.retain_items = True
        args = pop(vector, function.stored_arity)
        vector.append(safe_apply(function, args[::-1]))
        vy_globals.retain_items = False

3:24 PM
I've probably just never used it with monads then
Is there a way to search for special characters like that when searching questions and answers and stuff? Because it just says no results

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ nope SE search sucks lmao

well dang it

1 hour later…
4:46 PM
One of my cops on the change a character CnR got broken by some change, so I did a tiny edit to fix it, but it got fixed when we rolled back to 2.5.whatever, so I rolled back my tiny fix but now it's broken again, so I have to rollback my rollback :/

2 hours later…
6:49 PM
is it just me or is uninterleave broken?

example?

input as [a,b,c,d,e,f,g] code: `y`
id expect it to create two arrays from that

!!/run ⟨1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8⟩y,,

[@AaronMiller: 58664349]
⟨2|4|6|8⟩
⟨1|3|5|7⟩

6:52 PM
hmm
try it on the online interpreter

yeah that is intended

those aren't strings

you are inputting a string
"[a,b,c,d,e,f,g]" is your input

is that not how array syntax in the input works?
am i dumb af

it is but
what are a
and b
etc

oh
that is true
thanks

so @hyper-neutrino, what do you think of that cop I posted? ;p
I think lyxal will like it

7:00 PM
it is beautiful
as in i hate it

which post?

thats a couple of flags

maybe one or two

damn all the CGCC chats are really dead
it's monday not even a weekend what happened

7:09 PM
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

is B even a flag?

!!/run code h

[@AaronMiller: 58664510]
ALL flags should be used as is (no '-' prefix)
	H	Preset stack to 100
	j	Print top of stack joined by NEWLINEs on end of execution
	L	Print top of stack joined by NEWLINEs (Vertically) on end of execution
	s	Sum/concatenate top of stack on end of execution
	M	Make implicit range generation start at 0 instead of 1
	m	Make implicit range generation end at n-1 instead of n
	Ṁ	Equivalent to having both m and M flags
	v	Use Vyxal encoding for input file
	c	Output compiled code

its missing the triple dot flag

7:11 PM
the truncate one

ah, i forgot that one existed
That was probably reverted when we put out the cleanup flames

yeah it was really recent so that would make sense

!!/run 200ʀ

7:16 PM
@lyxal now that cleanup has been cancelled and we will do a full rewrite and leave master as the still functional branch, what is the call on patching minor issues on master until we fully replace it?

@lyxal I might be reworking parts of the bot eventually (especially if we use Jira); just to be sure, am I allowed to change the organization webhooks with my bot anytime i need/want?

8:23 PM
@hyper-neutrino We were all replaced with impostors
Mwahahaha

tf happened to your identicon

idk

what did SE do this time

@hyper-neutrino they "fixed" a bug :p

8:25 PM
nice

1 hour later…
9:43 PM
a-stone-arachnid opened issue #193 in Vyxal/Vyxal: ẇ doesn't work on integers

2 hours later…
11:15 PM
Vyxal's on fire again
Heh, that could mean four different things: Vyxal's literally ablaze, Vyxal's sexy, Vyxal's doing very well, or Vyxal has a painful feeling
And of course, the meaning we actually want: the fan has been hit with shit

11:39 PM
It’s on fire? What happened?

Nothing much, just the issue above
