@ProfM Thanks so much for the support !! I think will be nice since would just be a strict subset of which would probably be tagged anyway whenever is used. Maybe could have some use when studying topological phenomena in different types of plasmas or exotic phases of matter that are not "condensed".
@CodyAldaz @Tyberius @TristanMaxson we have only 4 questions in the tag, and one of them is closed. I think anything about the mathematics of a Hessian could go into and anything that's related to Hessians due to their role in geometry optimization, can simply get the tag. What do you think?
@ProfM maybe 200 years from now, astrophysicists will study "topological dark matter" and we'll be happy that our tag is topological-matter rather than only topological-condensed-matter 😂😂😂

@NikeDattani I agree, I don't see a need for a hessian tag. For most of them, should be sufficient and any other cases can just fall under (or some more specific tag for the question).

@Tyberius I've now removed the "Hessian" tag from the two question which were unanswered. I left it on two questions that already have answers, since I didn't want to bump them up at this very moment when we've had an influx of unanswered questions, but the Hessian tag now has only 2 questions, and it will be easy to burninate later.
I thought about making a tag synonym, but Hessian isn't always used for geometry-optimization: one question was about frequencies, and other questions might just be about the mathematics or numerical computing techniques. The fact that we got 4 questions with that tag may simply be because the tag existed since very early on, which doesn't necessarily mean that people will continue wanting to use it after it's removed.

@NikeDattani "topological dark matter" hahahaha

Nike DattaniWe are burninating the hessian tag, and I finished half of this job by removing the tag from all of the unanswered questions. I'm hesitant to remove the tag from the other two which already have answers, since bumping those questions up to the top right now seems a bad idea when we've had an infl...

@NikeDattani Speaking of tags to remove, I don't think we need . Its only on 10 posts (1 closed), it doesn't have a clear meaning, and I don't think anyone is watching this tag.

@NikeDattani The hessian tag is probably extra, I don't see a good reason for it. I support that removal. I think its non-descriptive and nobody would want to look for that tag for a question in my opinion.
