Hello Mathematica Stack people. I had a question, which perhaps isn't a good fit for the main site, therefore asking in chat.
I am evaluating some pFq hypergeometric functions at some specific points, and seem to be getting different answers from MATLAB and Wolfram Alpha evaluation of the same function.
Does anyone know any reliable way of computing them?
Case in point: 3F2([2,-48.-49],[-46.5,-47.5],1

@CarlLange have you seen this? It is too old to cover paclets, but covers everything else.

@C.E. Thanks, that's a really helpful Q&A and a really good start for me!

I seem to recall that there was a Wolfram community thread once where users were encouraged to suggest new features or improvements in Mathematica. Is there something like that, that we know that WRI actually looks at? Sometimes I encounter something that I think could be done better without too much trouble, and I'd like to feedback it to them.

@C.E. I submit those through wolfram.com/support/contact/email/?topic=Feedback, have gotten feedback on a few of them. Still waiting on them being implemented, though!
