Most sites set up feeds into their chatroom for questions on their main and meta site. There are two options: Have a feeds user post these into the room itself, as oneboxed posts (like here), or as a ticker feed that appears in the top of the chat screen (looking like the image in this post). ...

@Daniil I still feel like the answer to the first one is identical for me, even though we have little question influx by now.

I always liked the photo competition idea, although I don't think I'll be able to participate with many entries.

IMO it duplicates information from the homepage and clutters the chatroom, but I may be in the minority here.

I don’t usually check the homepage often, I usually only have chat open when doing work. When I see a new chat message I know there could be a new question. That’s is the benefit for me
