Its a lot more complicated. "If the dog turns away, he doesn't want to be petted." this is correct but the inverse does not apply, there are many other signals - if in doubt, step away. — gburton 1 min ago

Not an answer to the IPS aspect, but as someone who used to work for a newspaper, I'd suggest calling or emailing the publication and asking them if they could extend the subscription for an additional year, rather than send two copies to the same address. If you want to do that, they probably will. If you want to hear how to handle telling your relatives if you don't decide to do that, then that should be an answer and I'll let others take that up. — AHamilton 20 secs ago

You say that you tell him right away to "please finish this", but: 1. do you always do it although you just told him (so to speak, just mention to him that it should be done) and 2. have you already had a discussion about his behaviour, and if so, what did he answer? — OldPadawan 22 secs ago

You should explain WHY this is important to you. E.g. for me it's not important if the toilet paper is on the dispenser, next to it or if we're out of paper and I need to unpack one from the new box. If it makes you really uncomfortable, tell him that. — infinitezero 28 secs ago
