I was thinking of answering a question. While doing my research on order of adjectives I came across something that I think is incorrect. Can someone take a look, please? Cambridge - It’s a (4)long, (8)narrow, (10)plastic brush. The numbers indicate the type of adjective.
Its saying "narrow" = 8 which is wrong. Eight is material. "narrow" should = 4 = Shape
"plastic" should be 8 and not 10(purpose)

Oof, this is kind of rough. There are a bunch of different attempts to categorize adjective order in English, and I'm not sure there's any consensus on the list of categories or which adjectives belong to those categories in the One True Unmarked Adjective Order.
