Asking for answers isn't as big of a deal if you're asking the right audience and in the right way... there's a huge difference between OMG, why isn't anyone answering my awesome question... come on people, stop chatting and go answer it and Hi! Could someone look at my question and help me improve it so that I can get answers? It's really important to me and I'm not sure where I've made a mistake.

I've certainly responded positively to someone asking for answers in chat before

"Ugh, the thing isn't working"

and then moves on into a question

Asking for votes is actual misconduct that can get you sanctioned by a mod

I've never had to do that before

usually cause begging for votes gets folks downvotes

The problem I've had with asking for answers is when you go into a half dozen rooms and plaster it around and are just looking for attention.

Questions get reviewed both on site and in chat. The question itself gets reviewed in chat, the code in the question on the site itself.

I've sent a few to the CM team, but now I just feel sorry for those folks who need to compensate with profanity, and nuke the posts ;)

@ElizB Sorry, got stuck in a meeting...looks like it still has the same problems to me...Are they asking about what went wrong in the text conversation? Are they asking how to deal with situations when the girlfriend wants to facetime but they need alone time or want to play video games? Are they trying to get the girlfriend to open up? The situations they give in the question all seem to be geared toward asking a different question (to me at least)

I think OP needs to pick something specific to ask and trim the question down to be about the question. It's a bit of an info dump as it stands
