What poems can I compare to 'Dolphins' by Carol Ann Duffy, such that their themes coincide but the message conveyed is (slightly or majorly) different?
@ChristopheStrobbe OK, I got an answer back: a good starting point for Le Guin would be either the Earthsea series (epic fantasy) or The Word for World is Forest (which is more science fiction). As Gareth said, the Earthsea books should be read in order.
(I always thought it was called The Word for World is Wood, which would be even more tongue-twisting. But apparently it's forest not wood.)

@Randal'Thor What? It's five different questions rolled into one, making it ripe for bad answers because a good answer would have to be able to deal with all five questions equally well.
yeah, i can't get ahold of volumes 6 - 12 of HoME either, and they're $12 each on Amazon, which would add up rather fast. My best moment was finding the first five as a box set still shrink wrapped for $10 at a used bookstore but i haven't found any of the later ones since.
