Yay! I was rather surprised to see several well-upvoted and answered "what are critique resources out there" questions... IMO that's very much akin to SO's "off-site resource request", and that type of question is off-topic pretty much everywhere

@JohnB IMO a legitimate critique question can absolutely be objectively answered, same way a code review question can. See "is A better than B?" is (cough) objectively subjective, but "here's my work, here's the context, here's the thinking that led to it, how can it be improved?" can lead to very educational perspective with regards to e.g. color & font selection, layout & positioning, and many other aspects.

2.5 years ago: Scott and Zach voted to close it, so he did. Now - - Me, JohnB and thomas voted to reopen it so he did.

@Wrzlprmft I did, at the time thinking it could have more into the question but with an accepted answer and other's voting to open it I think that weighs differently and shows that some opinionated questions, while borderline, are still answerable and good for the community. So to recap, I guess yes, I did change my mind.

no, its a slippery slope compared to a boolean value and from other sites I frequent more for code. I sometimes have to step back to my design thinking of creativity. That is one factor on why I refuse to browse the close Q
