Prompted by yesterday's spam outbreak, I've added a "troll mode" to FireAlarm to help with short-term monitoring of spammers like that. To use it, head into SEBotics and run @FireAlarm troll. You will then have a fresh, ephemeral blacklist that you can put anything you want on for the purposes of catching the troll.

@AndrewT. See, it's working

yeah, seems I was wrong.

@NobodyNada That's a great ideea, is that only on Fire Alam, or can that be incorprated with Smokey as well

Yes

4:26 PM

true
I also concede that AIM makes sure the information doesn't stay shown for long

yep. People can put garbage in the title too; if someone really can't stand momentarily seeing that stuff, then Charcoal isn't the best place for them

Spam/rude/abusive/vandalism tends to be strongly associated with the user. Seeing the username, and having the link to the user is helpful.
@JohnDvorak Is your primary issue that the username could be objectionable?

I withdraw my suggestion
@Makyen yes

There are, almost certainly, browser extensions which will hide/obfuscate a list of objectionable words, if you so desire. (I've answered a couple questions on SO about naive methods of doing so.)
