@quid Since we're talking tags, it is now about a week since your comment on gt6989b's post. Just a reminder - I am not sure whether we should wait for some kind of a reasponse a bit or whether the new tag can be created.

Ok, so now there is stieltjes-integral and we no longer have riemann-stieltjes-integral.

I guess that such stuff is to be judged on the case by case basis, but questions about RS-integral will be most often tagged both (riemann-integral) and (stieltjes-integral) right?

Whether it is good tag or not, it is probably not ideal that somebody retags 50 question ni a few hours.

@Henry: No. I'm saying that if it turns out that the tag is not a good fit for whatever reason, it's easier and cleaner to remove the tag from two questions (or ideally from none, as discussion should take place prior to tagging any question), than it would be from 100+ questions. — Asaf Karagila Nov 20 at 22:17

I think that Asaf's has a point. If the tag is not discussed on meta first, at least the tag-creator should leave some time for others to react if they see that somebody created a new tag which is - for some reason - problematic.
