@Pandya You're welcome. By the way, if you're interested in Shaiva Siddhanta, you may want to read Meykandar's Shiva Jnana Bodham, which is one of the most important Shaiva Siddhanta texts. I discussed it with @Tezz a few months ago:
@Tezz @TheDestroyer And by the way, Meykandar's Shiva Jnana Bodham is itself a commentary on a set of 12 verses from a Shaiva Agama called the Raurava Agama.
@Tezz By the way, just like Vaishnavism has four Sampradayas (Brahma Sampradayam, Rudra Sampradayam, Sri Sampradayam, and Kumara Sampradayam), Shaivism also has two Sampradayas - Nandi Parampara and Skanda Parampara.
@Tezz Meykandar belonged to Nandi Parampara, but there was another Shaiva Siddhanta Acharya named Shivagrayogi who belonged to Skanda Parampara. Just like Meykandar composed a work called the Shiva Jnana Bodham, Shivagrayogi also composed a work with the same title Shiva Jnana Bodham. Both works are commentaries on the same set of 12 verses from the Raurava Agama.
@Tezz By the way, here is Meykandar's Shiva Jnana Bodham: https://archive.org/details/SivaGnanaBothamEng And here is Shivagrayogi's Shiva Jnana Bodham: https://www.himalayanacademy.com/media/books/sivagnana-bodha_sa-en/sivagnana-bodha.pdf
@Pandya Most Shaiva Siddhantins today are followers of Meykandar and thus the Nandi Parampara. I don't know whether the Skanda Parampara even exists anymore.
@Tobi consciousness is the result of connections in your brain.---> This has been refuted badly long ago by Indian achāryas ( philosophers) want to see some arguments?
How so... Do you think these men with no technology and only assumptions base upon the existence of god are more correct than the biologists of this age?
How long ago are you talking?
Because last century, people believed that bleeding yourself was the cure to all sickness
Okay. Can you little more explain how brain remember things? I'm computer student. Lacking in science.
Okay. According to you consciousness is temporary. Right? As consciousness is nothing but dynamic connections of brain. & Dynamic Connections are temporary.
It is hard for you to comprehend. You want simple answers for complex questions is your problem. You are asking me "How O.S is made?" When I try to explain you about Computer architecture as a prerequisite, you start crying I don't answer.
Okay, you tell me one thing. Consciousness is temporary according to you?
And tell what what conscious does?
Btw, O.S is made by programming language is very naive answer according to me. A kid version answer. Because knowledge of programming language is not sufficient to make an os.
As I discuss in my question here, Vishnu is said to have taught the principles of Vaishnavism to four disciples: Lakshmi, Brahma, Shiva and Sanatkumara. And in turn they started the four main Sampradayas or traditions of Vaishnavism: Sri Sampradayam (which I belong to), Brahma Sampradayam, Rudra ...
