For privileges it says you need at least 300 reputation. lol. I have like 54k reputation. So that means I should be automatically upgraded to root access to the AWS instance this is running on right?
Well, I'd like to help out with the tpu stuff. For credentials you can see I'm #11th site wide on the review queue ( stackoverflow.com/review/low-quality-posts/stats ) and obviously my tremendous 54k reputation.

rendering HTML into a label or text view takes a long time and must be done on the main thread, which normally isn't a big deal
but when I have a table view containing lots of posts, then every time a new post scrolls into view, the scrolling freezes for a quarter of a second or so
which is really jarring, so I'm going to fetch the Markdown with the SE API and render that instead
@QPaysTaxes because the built-in API to do this needs WebKit, and it crashes if it's done in the background, for some reason
I thought about using a third-party API, but I decided this Markdown API would be easier, since I just have to copy one file and it's super-lightweight
