We have some questions about induction on real numbers. Induction on Real Numbers seems to be the most popular, perhaps the questions linked there might be of interest too - if not for other reasons, then at least to see what tag are used on such questions.

Q: Induction on Real Numbers

BajuOne of my Fellows asked me whether total induction is applicable to real numbers, too ( or at least all real numbers ≥ 0) . We only used that for natural numbers so far. Of course you have to change some things in the inductive step, when you want to use it on real numbers. I guess that using i...

Are there some tag which should be added to ? I was thinking about and . Although the properties of the ordering of real line come into play here, I am less sure that would suitable. But perhaps it could be added, too.

It is probably time for a "Tag Management 2017" thread. I'm not creating it (yet) because the person who creates it should ideally be the person who is also willing and able to respond to all answers posted, and I'm unsure whether I will have enough time to do that in this year.

@wythagoras I did not really think about this that way. I thought that other than ignoring pings coming from new answers, there is no additional burden on the tag management thread creator.

I see that you have created (chordal-graph) tag. It might be useful to create also tag-wiki or at least tag-excerpt. It might help other users to use the tag correctly. (This is probably not a problem here, since the tag name seems to be descriptive enough.) Another reason is that the tags used on only one question are automatically deleted after certain time unless they have tag-wiki. — Martin Sleziak 46 secs ago
Wikipedia: Chordal graph is a graph in which all cycles of four or more vertices have a chord, which is an edge that is not part of the cycle but connects two vertices of the cycle.
