@ByteCommander the plan is to eventually combine them; however I'm not too proficient with JS/userscripts (most of the code in the reporting script was written by TinyGiant, I simply modified it). Once I learn a bit more I will certainly get around to incorporating it into FDSC.

@angussidney Yr welcome

@ArtOfCode I've done a little work on integrating my script with FDSC. It's working up until the point where I do the HTTP request to the chatroom to report the post, but then it throws ReferenceError: GM_xmlhttpRequest is not defined. I have granted access to that API using @grant, but it didn't work, even after re-installing and restarting firefox.
A quick search shows it may be something to do with this, but I'm not sure. Any ideas?
Btw I'm using this room for testing, if you are wondering where the message goes
I changed it to public

@angussidney you can't because you need to overcome the cross-origin limitation

7:58 AM
@rene what about modifying the crossDomain setting? would that help?

You can't post from one domain to another if the page that is served doesn't allow for that
and SE is very strict on that for obvious reasons

Yeah

Are you running in firefox with GreaseMonkey injecting that script for you?

Yeah

8:00 AM
I'm working on integrating the two
The one you linked works perfectly

@rene this one: github.com/Charcoal-SE/Userscripts/blob/…. ReferenceError: GM_xmlhttpRequest is not defined
I already granted the script access to that GM API, but doesn't seem to have done anything
The line that fails is the first request to run

@ArtOfCode yeah, I meant to ping you. I thought you might be able to make sense of it, considering youre the user script expert around here. But it never occurred to me to ping the creator, silly me.
@DavidPostill one thing at a time... :P

@angussidney I probably could figure it out, but I'd need to read through the script :)

@rene thanks for your help, I'll look at it in the morning when I'm not on mobile.

@angussidney rene's script looks like it should work, but I haven't tested it

@ArtOfCode don't worry about it, QPaysTaxes forwarded the message on to tiny and he responded

@angussidney cool

@ArtOfCode yeah, I'll take care of it

@ByteCommander Why is that NAA when it clearly contains a spam link?

@DavidPostill I'm not ByteCommander, but he's probably thinking that because it looks like a question, he is asking why the problem the OP is happening with that site in question

I did not click the link.
@DavidPostill Now I checked the link and it seems to be a (so-badly-designed-that-it-hurts-the-eye, but valid) school homepage. Nothing is sold or advertised there. Clearly NAA and not spam.

@ByteCommander Hmmph. New answer to 10 day old question. Introduces a link that's not been mentioned before. It's clearly advertising the school. "Nothing is sold" huh? They charge fees. That shouts SPAM!
