Man, never seem my cpu temp get so high, at some peaks it's getting to 90 degrees, then going down again. Can I limit CPU usage during kernel compilation?

Actually I feel bad for that VLQ op. He has a question, wants something to work, but doesn't know how to do it, so he does it in the most convoluted way, leading him to abandon the site
> Tip: if you're behind a firewall / router that blocks some of the redirects required to download the Oracle Java archive, you can download the JDK tar.gz archive manually and place it under /var/cache/oracle-jdk8-installer - then, installing the "oracle-java8-installer" package will use the local archive instead of trying it to download it itself.
when I thought the kernel compilation took too long, I didn't know what was coming on the modules compilation, at least I limited the CPU usage of the VM so I can use the computer while it's working
If a person reach reputation cap and got an upvote and and un-upvote in another day from same user who voted them after reaching cap-limit, will it result in -10 or nothing? @andrew.46 I was trying to find the answer of this question
@SeverusTux downvotes will be -2 always. but that too should be tested. because if you got 21 upvotes and -1 DV, you should get +2 from the last upvote
