@angussidney I think got it. The All-caps body filter is disabled as that got too many fps (not sure, just as per MS), while the all-caps answer is still valid. The post was a question which comes under "All-caps body", and as it was disabled, it was just caught by keyword in body. Though I still wonder why test-a did not catch the post
See this. It shows all the filters, and the "all-caps body" is in grey
which I think means disabled

@AshishAhujaツ Yeah, strange. Based on my minimum understanding of the code, there appears to be a rule for all caps posts, but it isn't in the list of reasons to be tested (don't quote me on this)

@ArtOfCode allspam doesn't generate a MS report for each post. Is this intentional?

@angussidney currently, yes, though I have been debating if it should

@ArtOfCode I vote yes
to generating a report

I think I would too, it's just a case of have we got enough resources to do that
it would mean at least two more API calls
another thread
It's possible, I just don't know how much resource we have spare

@ArtOfCode We normally have ~3k API requests left, and allspam isn't called that often. Shouldn't be a problem, should it?

ah yes, time to renew the ban apparently ;-)
or was he just added?

Nah but one tpu was enough to blacklist them
See SD reasons
The first one is just the shortened URL
The next ones also have "BLed user"

12:32 PM
FR for FDSC: when opening a post reported by SD, add the following keyboard shortcuts: "s" for flagging as spam, "r" for flagging as rude or abusive, "n" for flagging as NAA and "f" for feeding "fp-" back to SD.
It would be nice to be able to flag post as spam with just pressing one key on the keyboard, instead of clicking three times.

@Gothdo Might conflict with add-ons such as Vimium and trigger weird behaviour, also I'm more comfortable with the user actually having to click three times (flag, radiobox, button) to flag once

That's not the goal of SD

Smokey is designed for catching spam, and not low quality posts

ah, then disregard. :)
Still, the new users devote 3 or 5 sentences to saying literally nothing at all: "** I know there is a lot of posts like this, but for me is not enough... sorry, I am probably too newbie.

Can please anyone tell me how can I get rid of this error ?

I don't understand your answers... i think my case is too simple, and different, I don't use Animations."

For one, outside of academics, a CV isn't used in the US but in the UK the resume is pretty much non-existent. (At least according to this )
A Resume is basically the TL;DR of your life and the CV is the long form, book report of everything you've ever done

thanks

@Andy I always so far just sent a CV and cover letter

2:07 PM
@Magisch You're in Europe right?

If the guy hiring needs a tl;dr of what he's getting into, I don't want to work for him
germany, yes

That makes sense then.
If I handed a hiring manager something longer than a page or two they'd laugh in my face

Meh
software companies here rarely get more then a dozen applications per position, if even that
they have plenty of time to read it

Cultural differences

I spent time making it, so I expect them to at least read it in full

2:09 PM
As someone who was a hiring manager (in the US at least), that's an assumption you shouldn't make.

Why not?
If they'd consider me at all, they should read it, since the information in there is important for them to know if they want to hire me or not.
If they wouldn't, there is no harm done, since I won't deal with them again

In my case I was looking for key things: Experience some what related to the position. Recent experience (not 10 years ago). If there is a gap, was there schooling in there somewhere? I wasn't that interested in your college degree - though if your degree wasn't in a technical field it gave me something to ask about at the interview. One of my best developers had a degree in Psychology.
I usually didn't care about awards you'd won (though, if something stuck out it gave me something to ask about).
This was for entry level positions

I've only ever applied for entry level positions
and tbh, my application formatting skills are lacking
I still got 4/4 interviews and 4/4 offers though

Experience also meant something as simple as "contributed to an open source project" (and I could verify it). It didn't mean you had to have worked for 10 years and developed a globally used web site

I had the weirdest experience about that actually
before starting my apprenticeship, I was a dual student at the central bank. In my application to them, I listed some SQL and LUA skills from my time at a WOW private server
one of the interviewers actually researched that, confirmed my details with former aquiantances still running that server, and asked me 15 minutes of questions about its interna and the work I did there

2:16 PM
Which, to me, would have been great. It showed that a.) You could built something b.) learned something to do something you wanted and c.) shows you have a hobby of some kind which was important. You look forward to doing something after work
Oh hey...car's done being repaired. Yay! I'll be back later.

Everyone needs something to look forward to after work :3

You'd be surprised how many didn't, when I was interviewing. Especially recent graduates.

whats the purpose to life then?
work isn't supposed to be your only purpose

@Magisch If you love your work...

@undo If you love something so much you could do it all day and do nothing else and be fulfilled, thats not work, thats a hobby with the benefit of paying you

Exactly
I try to have two or three projects open at any one time, lets me cycle through them and I don't get burned out on any one of them.

I like my work
I also like playing games
I also like moderating on SO
I have many things that I like to do, and switching between them helps me spice life up a bit :D

@Oldskool There is an identical deleted answer by the same user on this question. It was deleted yesterday by a mod with a comment "Please don't post identical answers to multiple questions.".

Sounds more like a duplicate question then.

But it's not spam/abusive/naa, so f.

@ArtOfCode the last writers post above, it first said "you can only flag every 5 seconds" and "get tpu to metasmoke" then I tried to flag 5 seconds later again, and it said "the for flagging" and "unknown error occurred sending feedback to metasmoke"

5:15 PM
@Ferrybig so let me get this straight: you flagged it, and the green "fed back tpu- to metasmoke" came up, then you flagged it again 5 seconds later, and metasmoke errored?
If that's right, it's normal - metasmoke rejects duplicate feedback

Maybe, just a sec
might be easier to just nuke all the feedback on it
