11:00 AM
The internet should simply mix its opinions about Pixar and the prequel trilogy to actually make a moderate opinion of something out of it for once.

I really like 9 too, have any of you seen it?

@AnkitSharma Oh, with those little steam punk puppets? That was cool, yeah.

@AnkitSharma Well in a way, we sort of discussed this in the anime discussion yesterday. For a long time, people associated any form of animation with "kids stuff", so when something breaks the mould we pay attention.

@NapoleonWilson yes
9 is a 2009 American computer animated post-apocalyptic science fiction dark fantasy directed by Shane Acker, written by Pamela Pettler, and produced by Jim Lemley, Dana Ginsburg, Tim Burton, and Timur Bekmambetov. The film stars the voice talents of Elijah Wood, John C. Reilly, Jennifer Connelly, Christopher Plummer, Crispin Glover, Martin Landau, and Fred Tatasciore. It is based on Acker's Academy Award-nominated 2005 short film of the same name. Focus Features released it theatrically on September 9, 2009. The film received generally mixed reviews from critics and it earned $48.4 million on...

@AnkitSharma Which is quite my standpoint, I guess.

11:01 AM
I will place it over most of pixers film

@NapoleonWilson You act as if having an opinion is a bad thing. When something is good, there is nothing wrong with saying it's good. Likewise for when something is bad.
I didn't like 9 all that much. I can barely remember it, to be honest.

@NapoleonWilson Yeah I know that and quite agree with it too but it's more applied for pixar
@DrRDizzle ouch

@AnkitSharma I remember looking forward to it because one of the trailers used Coheed and Cambria's "Welcome Home" in it, but the film itself just evaporated from my memory almost straight away.

@DrRDizzle No, I just act like the internet shouldn't overrate things and I'd prefer people to have my opinion, like, um, humans act.

Take Cars for example, I don't see it as good as it got hyped
Way overrated

11:05 AM
@NapoleonWilson You'd prefer people to have your opinion?

@DrRDizzle Uh, well, everyone does to some degree.

@AnkitSharma Definitely one of the most bog standard Pixar films.

And cars 2 was bleh, I am not even going to check planes just because of what i feel about previous films

@NapoleonWilson It would be really, really boring if everyone agreed on everything.

@DrRDizzle Yeah, yeah, that's standard talk. But seriously, you are not baffled when people overrate stuff that you don't find as great? Tell me another story please.

11:08 AM
Brave too, it's also way overrated for my taste

It's not like I want everyone to do exactly the same as I do. I simply don't like the internet overrating Pixar films and think it does so, is all. So I have zero idea what in the friggin' hell you are on about now.

@DrRDizzle But you are the one who bash others opinion too and ready to fight till death for it

@NapoleonWilson I've literally just had a conversation with @Walt about how I don't see why people like Ratatouille as much as they do. I wouldn't want everyone to suddenly change their mind though - I'm willing to recognise that they see something in it that I don't.

@DrRDizzle Niehter did I say anything like that. Gheez, what the fuck are you going on about here? I just said I think the internet overrates some stuff and underrates other stuff and that I don't like that.

@NapoleonWilson You literally said that you'd prefer it if people didn't overrate things that you don't like. I'm saying it's too fucking bad that people have their own opinions.

11:11 AM
This whole thing went awry much faster than normal.
@DrRDizzle Yeah, that's exactly what I said and meant. And you act like you don't ever have any other opinion than everyone else and never complain about that. As said, go tell another story. Thanks.

We are talking about overrated animation stuff and nobody spelled Frozen

@AnkitSharma I liked that.

@AnkitSharma Yeah, I quite like Frozen too.

@NapoleonWilson I too but it was not that great as internet claim
It got way much hype that it deserve

Especially that it emphasized sisterly love over romantic love for once.
@AnkitSharma Well, that's also largely due to Disney's humonguous marketing apparatus. Little girls are swamped in that stuff.

11:15 AM
@NapoleonWilson I think Disney doing it to everything lately, Maleficent did same
Maleficent's kiss replaced prince's kiss
Once Upon a Time played with the term true love kiss too
@NapoleonWilson I still prefer little girl going gaga over frozen then sparkling vampires.

@AnkitSharma Sure. (Though, I guess there's an age difference. The girls first go gaga for Frozen and then for vampires, once the hormones kick in.)

I think Tom Hiddleston is the new vampires, isn't he?
I mean, Only Lovers Left Alive is effectively a wet dream for a very specific group of people.
(It's also a really good film)

11:51 AM
@DrRDizzle ooops I forgot to watch it

@NapoleonWilson OMG. I only said that because of the comment that you said that you made that was misinterpreted. I...I'm sorry. I was totally kidding :'(

@steelerfan I know, don't worry. ;-)
@steelerfan :'(

@NapoleonWilson Why are you crying? It could be highly profitable for you ;)

@steelerfan I guess.

@NapoleonWilson How are you today, my dearest?

4:42 PM
@steelerfan Fine.
How is you?

@NapoleonWilson I'm AWESOME now that you're here, babe :)

@steelerfan Awww, hihi!

@steelerfan I don't blame you!

What does "hihihi" mean? Is that like a laugh or are you saying hi to me over and over again @NapoleonWilson? ;)
@DrRDizzle If they would only make more vampire movies like that...

@steelerfan It's a more giggling/snickering laugh, or a flattered one.

4:48 PM
@NapoleonWilson Hehe. Okay, then :)

Wow, that James Bond thing really runs wild.

@NapoleonWilson Yeah, I saw that you answered it last night. It's a great question!
Maybe I will finish my Se7en question today. We'll see.

@NapoleonWilson Did you get sleep last night? I hope that you didn't stay up too late!

@steelerfan Sufficient, I guess.

4:58 PM
<sigh>
Alright, then.
You're one of those "glass half empty" people, aren't you? ;)

I am break the glass , spread the water kind if anyone want to know ;)

@AnkitSharma Haha! That's frigging awesome!

Thank u

@steelerfan Why? I just said I got about enough sleep. What's pessimistic about that? I don't understand you.

@NapoleonWilson I don't know. I'm just messing around. Stop taking everything so serious!

5:07 PM
@steelerfan Ok, sorry. Well, stop thinking I'm pessimistic then.

@NapoleonWilson Yeah, I'm not doing this with you. I didn't do anything. I was totally kidding around. I was in a really good mood and was just messing around with you. I'm sorry if you want to turn it into something serious.

@steelerfan I'm not taking anything serious. Sweety, I'm sorry. I'm fine, why are you so serious? Everything is ok. Cheer up! ;-)

@NapoleonWilson ME? Grrr... alright. Whatever you say, my dear ;) I'M TOTALLY CHEERED! All is well!! I promise ;)
Anyways, I am going to go work on my question while I still have the motivation to do so.

Wow, after checking some reviewers video, I noticed Defender trailer is more awesome and they used nirvana song pretty well
@NapoleonWilson I though you were going to change justice league tags

5:24 PM
Argh! Well, nevermind. There goes my question. I guess that the city in the movie was intentionally unnamed because they wanted it to be a fictional city. I hate it when you find the answer to your question when writing your question! ;)

@AnkitSharma What?
@steelerfan Awww, I hate that too. What happened?

@NapoleonWilson We talked about , long ago
It have 2 question ( was 3), one is dor animated show and other for DCEU

@AnkitSharma Yeah, I remember that we didn't really know what to do.
@steelerfan The trick is not to put in too much research. ;-)

But we need to do something

@NapoleonWilson I was trying to find the article that the writer was quoted as saying that New York was the inspiration for the city. I stumbled upon a link that has David Fincher saying that the city was intended to be fictional. Dammit!

5:29 PM
And tag wiki is for animated show

@NapoleonWilson Yeah, the last time I did that, I felt like an idiot. My question was answered in like 5 minutes. It was the most recent one for the challenge, actually ;)

@steelerfan Awww. Well, if it isn't that easy to find this information, there's no problem with doing a BlogOverflow either.

@NapoleonWilson What's a BlogOverflow?

@steelerfan Which was still a great question and answer.
@steelerfan A simultaneously self-answered question. Something like this.

@NapoleonWilson No. No way. I don't want to do that.

5:34 PM
@steelerfan Hmm, maybe I'll ask the question some day then.

@NapoleonWilson Haha! Well, I already gave you the answer ;)

@steelerfan You did not. You said there's some quote somewhere that says something. That's not a well-fleshed out answer contributing to the collective archive of interesting film information that this site is supposed to be.

@NapoleonWilson Uhm...okay. You don't have to snap at me. Chill out.
An actual quote from Fincher himself should be enough to answer the question I would think. I don't know.

@steelerfan What? I didn't "snap" at you.
I am chilled. How often do I have to say that? ;-)
@steelerfan Sure. But I don't even know where that quote is. I have no link to it and I don't know how to find it.

@NapoleonWilson I'm sorry. Your chat messages are misinterpreted sometimes, I guess. It's fine. You're chilled, okay.
@NapoleonWilson Okay, sure :)

5:47 PM
Don't worry, I'll not ask it now anyway. I'll just keep it in mind.

Alright, then.

6:10 PM
@steelerfan When will you be phone-reachable?

@NapoleonWilson I thought that you said you weren't sure if you could speak to me today.

@steelerfan Oh, no, that was tomorrow, when we go to the cinema.

@NapoleonWilson Oh, okay. Uhm...probably around 1:30 pst, I guess. My phone is completely dead right now. I have to go and charge it.

@steelerfan Okay.

@NapoleonWilson I won't be able to talk very long. I have a class to teach. Just fyi.

6:15 PM
@steelerfan Oh. Well, it'll work somehow, I guess.

@dbugger under a million hits? That's obscure. Next you'll say that calling someone dumb means they are just pointing out their mute-ness. — cde 21 hours ago

@Catija What are you talking about? Whom is he calling dumb?
That would indeed be offensive, but just doesn't seem to be what happened there, or I didn't get it. Isn't he just alluding to the archaic and more obscure meaning of the word "dumb"?

@TomášZato The Strangers. That movie actually kept me up at night. Besides An American Werewolf in London (which scared the hell out of me as a child) that's the only movie to do that to me.
It amazes me how my brother seems to think that I need to cook dinner for him and his friends just because I am in the same house as him. I just looked at him and laughed. Hehe! God! ;)
I handed him his phone and showed him how to use it for take out. God, I am so mean ;)
