Q: \listoffigures and \listoftables dont appear in TOC

Łukasz PrzeniosłoMy bibliography link appears in the table of contents, but the figures and tables lists dont. Here is how I get them: % ustawienie bibliografii \nocite{*} \bibliographystyle{acm-i} \bibliography{bib_database} \clearpage \listoftables \clearpage \listoffigures Bibliography is then seen in TO...

What document class are you using?

I am using mwart, I edited the question.
But should I look into the mwart classdocument you mean?
It might be, but I need to change it somehow.

I made a test file and I see both “Spis tablic” and “Spis rysunków” in the “Spis treści”. A minimal example is needed.

Yes this is the problem, When I created the minimal example just now, I see them as well. I am wondering what could kill it in my document.

@ŁukaszPrzeniosło Divide and conquer; but maybe showing a list of the packages you're loading could suffice.

6:13 PM
@egreg I added the code

Sorry, but I still get the lists in the table of contents.

Could I maybe send you the whole document if thats not a problem?

6:29 PM
This is my example: it's the same preamble (with only lipsum added, which is surely irrelevant for the problem). I have thebibliography, but it's irrelevant as well.
\documentclass[12pt]{mwart}

\usepackage{lipsum}

% Kodowanie:
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}

% Czcionki:
\usepackage[sfdefault]{ClearSans} %% option 'sfdefault' activates Clear Sans as the default text font
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usepackage{courier}
\usepackage[T1]{polski}

% Geometria i style
%\usepackage{showframe} % debug
\usepackage{geometry}
\geometry{a4paper,twoside=true,top=20mm,bottom=30mm,inner=35mm,outer=20mm}
\pagestyle{plain}
\usepackage{float}
\usepackage{afterpage}

% Grafika
\usepackage{graphicx}
And this is what I get

When I do MWE it is also working. I Dont know why it doesnt with my content.
This is my whole project dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/14154631/latex.rar Could you please only power it up and see either you see the lists in the TOC? All sources are there

I'll take a look later

6:44 PM
thank you very much

1 hour later…
7:49 PM
You didn't mention the most important piece of information: it should be \usepackage[titles]{tocloft}

Sorry, I didnt notice it affected the list. Thank you very much for your time, now it works.
I find this latex to be more magical each day I use it...

@ŁukaszPrzeniosło Well, it shouldn't, but it does. Bad choice by the package author. :(
@ŁukaszPrzeniosło The issue has already appeared a few times in the past.
Good night and best wishes for the thesis: your girlfriend? :)

sorry, didnt find it on the forums. Ill search better next time before I post a uestion

@ŁukaszPrzeniosło It's not easy to spot it, don't worry.
Is the choice of a sans serif font for the text imposed by the institution?

8:14 PM
Yes
When I was doing my engineers thesis it was still serif font and the document looked professional. For some reason now they want us to use Helvetica, but the one I got in the text is the closest one I found.

@ŁukaszPrzeniosło The serif math is horrible, but it's well known that the people in charge of those decisions are carefully chosen among those who are blissfully ignorant in typography matters. ;-)
Good night!

You too, thank you for help :P
