As of now, SO has 8.2m visits per day and 8.2k questions per day. Neat.
The ratio of 1000 is higher than for many, but some sites have more. The leader is Seasoned Advice with 99k visits and only 9.4 questions per day, over 10,000 ratio.

@SmokeDetector That message seems suspicious, the user spammed on the website on the SAME question in the past, but I don't see how his new answer is suddenly correct.
@LiveForever Indeed, there was some kind of weird spam types today, even posts where just the WHOLE post was a link to a spam youtube video. Flagged almost all, for the stackoverflow ones I was to late every time...
k = tpu- blacklists the user, not desirable for NAA with no ill intent on user's part. They either never post again, or they post an actual question which would get reported here.
I usually reply "NAA" which is for chatroom's information only. No effect on Smokey.
This is interesting: Code Golf hasn't graduated yet because of some bug in graduation-checking script. (?)
@MichaelT Music and Japanese were in the loop before we set the new criteria. Aviation hit "eligibility" on October 19th. All 3 had delayed graduations, the former because of the whole design thing and the latter due to the pileup of graduations from implementing design independent. We just ran Code Golf through the eligibility check though, and it passed, and probably should've passed a while ago. So we're looking into why it hasn't been flagged yet. — Grace Note ♦12 mins ago

I thought there were two ways of deleting users though
One does what you described and one completely nuked them and all their posts from orbit. Maybe the latter happened and this question was brought back and attributed to Community
@quartata Yes, there is deletion and destruction. Destruction also deletes all posts, and is used for spammers and other such worthless people. Deletion leaves the posts in place, but they are not attributed to Community. Here is an example: a question by deleted user.

The delete-undelete cycle on that PIP question makes it look like Pandora's box: a site mod comes across the question, "why is it deleted" -> undeletes -> NOOOOO -> deletes again.
