@BESW @trogdor I'll reinforce that I like what we do in our stories. So me getting restless that we don't do other stuff doesn't mean I don't like what we are doing. It just means I'm restless for the other stuff we're not doing.
@Miniman I've finished the this little race that I've made, however I'm unsure about certain racial features. Would it make my question too broad to include 4 possible alterations at the end?
"Here's this homebrew race! Also, here's four other things that are 90%-complete homebrew races all on their own as alterations, please evaluate them too!" is asking us to evaluate ~5 homebrew races. Way too broad. On the other hand, "I was considering replacing the number for this feature with this other number" is tiny and fine.

@Miniman I remember someone lamenting that the Powerful Build of previous editions was written so selectively, and not in a way more easy to bear in mind, which is just: "You're one size larger when it's advantageous to you to consider yourself that way."
Instead of that, you had to bear in mind a list of situations in which it applied, and then your intuition usually added extra situations which sorry, no, the author didn't specify that, you can't have that.

At a choice between two coffee shops with equally good coffee, I'm going to recommend the one that doesn't have week-old unrefrigerated egg salad sandwiches in its display case, even if I don't plan to eat them myself.
The thing I find is that when I go to d20 - I know that I'm getting a good coffee. On the other hand, Dandwiki is going to give me a good coffee sometimes, or an instant made-up coffee in the same cup other times.

Question: D&D 5e asserts that two-handed weapons require two hands. Sure. But do my two hands require only maximum one weapon each? Can I dual-wield my mauls by duct-taping them together? Can I swing around my bundle-o-mauls? (And is it truly dual-wielding at this point?)

I recall a mission from the Warhammer: Age of Reckoning MMO. The ork currency is teef. An ork chief wakes up and notices all his teef have gone missing from his mouth and is upset about it. He asks you to find out who did it. You find the culprit, they fess up and hand over his teef. You return them to him, and he lets bygones be bygones.
It amuses me still how calmly he responded to having no teef left in his mouth.
This question reminds me of our D&D 3.5 campaign where the GM ruled that every time "an extradimensional space" was referenced, it was actually a hermetically sealed pocket within a single extradimensional plane filled with honeycomb-like cells of varying sizes.
This plane was, naturally enough, called The Plane of Indefinite Article.
@BESW I recall you also had a bag-lich occupying one of those pockets. Did long-lost pockets of stuff from bags torn and rendered useless thousands of years back ever come up as a story element?
("lost to a popped bag of holding" is a simplification to the point of absurd inaccuracy, but the actual story involves trying to explain what we were doing with an artefact that was shifted halfway between two planes, and why we were putting it into a bag that was only shifted 1/3 of the way between those planes.)

@Pixie I've given up. If I can't get "Magician", I use an ugly amalgamation of it and the first part of my surname - the first thing that came into my head years ago, that I've used since.
I'd love to use just the first part of my surname, it's short and easy to say. But some bastard somewhere decided it's slang for what people usually use slang for. I've never heard it used that way, never had anyone comment on it meaning that, but it must be on a list of forbidden names as it's always "taken".
For characters, it really depends. I take setting into account first of all. Sometimes I have to establish naming conventions since I'm often working in original worlds. But if it's an Earth character, that can be easier and harder too.
@IronHeart The changeling race first appears in the wedding episode. Since then, they had minor roles in other episode too. Their story has never been explained in the tv show, the only clue you have is in one of the latest episode where the scene they appear in may be an indication that some changelings may have "pony friends"
Anyway, creature with innate sorcery ensorcelling a potential threat and attractive source of food to keep him docile, is my thinking on the Shining daze phenomenon.

Yeah, I have a lot of friends who find it hard to get together regularly because of work, families, and so forth. So I've set aside Saturday nights as a time when my house is always open if someone happens to be available.
Usually it's a pretty small crowd and we play RPGs.
But depending on who shows up, we might watch a movie or play Munchkin or cribbage or go see a theatre performance.
It's part of my effort to create a welcoming, safe environment where folks feel comfortable. Same reason I moved to more episodic, low-upfront-effort RPG systems.
Though I dearly miss sleepovers with a certain friend. Sometimes we'd freeform RP back and forth in a notebook, or we'd just talk out scenarios and plan for the future. We were always running some kind of game online.
(Actually, that is the same friend who ran the game with Veyfiel the door-mage and his bat who couldn't hear things either, which I have described in the Campfire. That was a sleepover with some of her friends, and we just thought, "You know, it's the middle of the night. Let's play D&D.")
But overall, I've always loved group environments because one of the fun things about RP seeing how people's ideas intersect and what they think of that I might never have. The more people, the more of that you get.
So question. I want to ask a question pretty much exactly like this one only for Pathfinder. Would it be considered a duplicate or not? I don't think so but thought I would ask.
@Aaron as long as its for a different game system it wouldn't be considered a duplicate. Also, that question is very old and there's the possibility that some answers are outdated.
Answers being outdated means the question should get bumped--maybe with a bounty.
"The existing stuff is outdated" isn't going to make a dupe any less a dupe. The different system, though--that's viable. Even though 3.5 and PF are so close as to make little difference, I suspect it's a reasonable variation in the eyes of the site.
If you really want to get an answer on whether it's a dupe before you post, though--ask on meta.

No. It's that a barbarian who already has Improved Unarmed Strike is still forced to take the rage power that grants him Improved Unarmed Strike (with restrictions, and no additional benefit) to get the second rage power.
... okay, rereading, I'm now noticing that it (effectively) serves as Improved Natural Attack (unarmed strike) if you already have Improved Unarmed Strike. That's a failure of labelling I can't put on the publisher, whoops. (Damn you, d20pfsrd!)
