So now that the holiday season is thru, (our holiday season ;-)), are we any closer to primetime? cf. chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/message/1954976#1954976. Is anybody else dreading the upgrade as much as I am?

@HodofHod 1) No idea. They'll let us know when they think we're ready. 2) I'm looking forward to it. What's to dread?
@yydl You make a good point. However, I would probably ask what the motivation for such a question was if none was provided in the question, and would consider it a low-quality question. I wouldn't necessarily close it, though. Once it's known to be riddle-derived, though, it's self-evidently low-quality and close-worthy. Anyway, don't expect me to re-open this particular question. Some people seem to think that that user has special license to post riddles, and I wouldn't want to fuel ...
... that misconception

@IsaacMoses Silly stuff, like the loss of most of my privileges once the thresholds are set to normal. ;-)

For that matter, I fear many of our frequent users would be left privilegeless. And because ours is a site with slow traffic, the promotions are harder to come by.

@HodofHod Just out of curiosity, which privileges are you going to miss most?
@IsaacMoses I see. So it wasn't so much the question, but more of the context. Sounds okay. It just seemed strange when I bumped into it recently.

@yydl "access to moderator tools" and "edit questions and answers". How about you? moderator tools? trusted user?

What should one do with an answer like this? While it obviously cant just quote the entire page in the answer, neither do I think that an answer should consist of links and nothing more. Thoughts? I left a comment to the effect that some info should be added, but its not the first time I've seen something like that. Whats the proper response? Leave it? Nudge the author? Edit it myself?
