The one case I still remember specifically that destroyed a helmet was that one time where I somehow ended up with my foot in my frontwheel and thus got launched headfirst over the handlebars and onto the street.
And then skidded onwards on my face until I ended in the side of the road.
@KevinvanderVelden I wish I could remember. I remember the fish tailing and I remember standing up. I think I remember putting my front brake on. I assume I landed on my elbow then skidded along, but I have no idea.
And then got launched into the air, wit my head centimeters left of a road sign, and flying over some small pillars that were placed to przevent cars from parking at tat place.
I had one where I caught the handlebar on a branch. It flipped me clean over, directly down onto my back. Luckily I was wearing a backpack, which took the brunt of the force. Unluckily, it contained my laptop.

@Frank I have a coworker who keeps making horrible puns. I always have to resist saying "that's a @Wipqozn -level pun" because I don't want to have to explain what I mean by that.
@5pike Most of it for me is that we have a merciless quality standard, and the viewpoint that links, by themselves, aren't answers. So remove the link, and we're left without an actual answer.
And then we run into the people part of the equation, and the inconsistencies of the SE platform.

@5pike So link rot making an answer into nothing isn't as bad as a game patch making a bunch of answers wrong, yet we deal with game patches all the time.

In regards to the possibility of an answer becoming invalid, you should look at what indication there could be to show the answer needs updating. If the game changes, lots of people know it. If a link dies, people don't know until they click on it.

This is the first time I've ever seen a disputed flag in my summary, so I'm just curious, what is a disputed flag? How would you even dispute a flag? Is this the same as voting a flag as invalid?
