user6564Assalaamu alaikum,Allah has blessed me with baby boy,he is of 8 months now,My sister in law use to play with my kid,but sometimes i feel like she is doing too much,My Husband's family mentions as her baby,Sometimes my baby not coming to me when with her,i feel too hurt if my son dont come to me,S...

@Beofett could this question be migrated to Parenting?

@BleedingFingers I'm a peon here, but I suggest it could be. Based on what I have seen, though, I doubt it would be immediately helpful. The few questions we have had of that nature have received little in the ways of answers.
@JonEricson I am quite distressed by this post... everything except the question and answer... and I will put even my own comments up to be challenged. It doesn't seem productive, it's not about the parenting site, I have no idea what to do, and am so confused, but it seems such a bad situation to leave on SO. I tried to start a private chat, but I guess I am not that good at that. :(
@BleedingFingers On reading the question for a 3rd time, it doesn't appear she is asking for anything related to parenting, but how Islam judges her role. Perhaps I am mistaken, but the answer to that is the answer to migration, right?

@JonEricson Not to waste your time. Someone caught it and cleaned up EVERYTHING (again, I could care less of who was cleaned up). Something else was added, but I don't want to waste your time as it seems like someone is on it to keep it good for SO. (If there's a tutorial I need to read about proper reporting of things, please feel free to direct me!)

@BleedingFingers Right now, the question seems to be split between "What does Islamic law say about the role of an aunt in parenting?" and "I feel like my parenting is being overruled by my sister-in-law and my husband's family; what can I do to assert my role as mother?"
The first part is completely off topic for us; the second is completely on topic for us. However, the question would need some editing, before it could work here.
If the part about Islamic Law were removed (and possibly made into a separate question for your site?), and then details about how, specifically, the family members are interfering with the OP's role as a mother, then it would be a good candidate for migration.

@JeremyMiller The right thing to do is to flag the comments (rude/offensive), which is what you (and link 5 other people) did. A moderator deleted a mess of unhelpful comments.

@JonEricson Are you okay with my comments on this question? Would such edits satisfy your concerns?
In addition to what I mention in the comments, I have concern that, as currently worded, the question seems particularly useful to fugitives seeking to avoid notice (such as cases of parental kidnapping).

@Beofett Sure. What I have found interesting is that the OP has made no attempt to improve the question. As it stands, it reads like a conspiracy question.

Not that I think that is at all what the OP is interested in.

@JonEricson Thank you. I don't mind being corrected, but we can all be kind. :)

@JeremyMiller "Be nice" is the foundation of our behaviour policy.

I'm more than happy to remove rude comments.

@JonEricson Thanks. I found myself getting caught up in the negativity and so I stopped commenting on it -- it's not how I want to be.

Good instinct. I try to stop commenting after one comment (which got me in trouble here, I suppose). Back and forth comments are often unproductive even when they aren't rude.

@JonEricson True. In the case here, though, my take is that nothing but agreement would have been accepted. But, we will see... perhaps it will be expressed more clearly or others will vote to open. That's the whole point of this type of community.

A good read linked from ITsec: [psmag.com/navigation/health-and-behavior/… If We Admitted to Children That Sex Is Primarily About Pleasure)
It's been too long since I posted; can't even post a simple link anymore :-)
