@rapt Bitcoin can't be attacked by starting a million fake nodes, AFAIK. You might be able to attack it by starting a million real nodes, but those are more expensive than fake nodes. A million real nodes also won't let you mine any faster.

@immibis I don't understand your terminology. In Bitcoin, what is for you a fake node? What is a real node?
