Q: Is there anything different about the gravitation around a black hole and a neutron star of the same mass?

uhohIf we perform a simple experiment by orbiting identical spacecraft around a non-rotating black hole and a non-rotating neutron star of equal mass at a "safe" distance, and ignore differences other than gravitation (e.g. magnetic fields and charge) would there be any differences in their orbits pr...

Q: Does Cyrillic kill proper display of hyperlinks in comments, but not in posts?

uhohI tried to quote Wikipedia in a comment: For space-word-deficient folks like myself Zarya (Russian: Заря́, lit. 'Dawn'[b]), also known as the Functional Cargo Block or FGB (from the Russian: "Функционально-грузовой блок", lit. 'Funktsionalno-gruzovoy blok' or ФГБ), is the first module of the Int...

BN2 or 2.1 is a confusing point, no one is certain. But it looks like they are building a pressure test small tank. We shall see in time.
But BN3 is proceeding as all the Starships befroe it, more and more pieces appear and then they assemble fairly quickly. It is interesting that the top dome has yet to be spotted
Two tower segments assembled offsite, to be SPMT transported, and then lifted onto the Integration tower. They expect 7-8 of these segments needed. (Assemble offsight and launch ops/pressure ops on the pad do not interfere with your work, well maybe launch ones do)

Assuming ASOG is going to use a Marmac 3xx hull, 302 is the only one left, and they found it in a shipyard!
Woo Hoo!

Marmac 300 was the first JRTI and was returned to Marmac. 301 and 304 I think are OCISLY and new JRTI. I forget what happened to 303.

Spaceflight, from the beginning, has depended on computers – both on the ground and in the spacecraft. SpaceX has carried it to a new level. We recently spoke with Steven Gerding, Dragon’s software development lead, about the special challenges software development has for SpaceX’s many missions.

@peterh To support your point a little, here is an example someone suggests, of a possible testing delay...
Seeing Bocachicagal's picture of the support crane for the LR 11350 being brought back to the launch site makes me think that assembling the main boom for the big crane is in the works. Why point this out? I don't think they will attempt to move the big crane off site again. That will put the large crane in place until the launch tower lifting work is done.
With the big crane in place test launchs will shift to a later date (June,July), and we will see GSE and launch pad work progress at a rapid clip. Likely to see SN15 and 16 on stands next to each other as they wait for cranes to finish u
