@RegDwigнt: Did you ever see the HBO miniseries Chernobyl? Very depressing, but I'm not asking you to watch it all. There is an unaccompanied dirge at around 49:00+ in the 4th episode, which sounds like Russian to me but might be Ukranian, and I wonder if you've seen it or heard it and can translate it for me.

@Cerberus Yeah. It never bothered me because I got top grades in all but a couple of instances.
But those couple of instances rather pissed me off.
I got a B in each of two semesters of music theory because the teacher only awarded an A to his piano students (orchestral students weren't real musicians, after all) and I got an A- in a grad school math course for similarly stupid reasons.
I did actually flunk one course (technically) when I withdrew within the time period but the paperwork never went through. It took me a whole semester to get that expunged through the turgid bureaucracy.
If I was interested in a course, it was easy to get an A. If I wasn't, I dropped it if I could. If I couldn't, I just turned it into a game. Because getting good grades is always a game.

I think food is the power for doing everything. as long as there is persistent food offer, any giant work can be completed.
yesterday I heard a broadcast in some mart asking people to donate money to solve children's hunger again. Actually hunger is not only children's problem but a lot of adults' problem.
food is a persistent demand but making food is very boring (I guess that's why food price is roaring constantly) and going to fetch food frequently is a hassle.
