@CowperKettle I'd be fonder of that if it was absolute heat, since hot is an adjective and not a noun.

Noun: sliding pond (plural sliding ponds)
  1. (obsolete) A frozen pond on which people skate.
  2. (obsolete) An area of the ground or flooring made very smooth so people may slide.
  3. (New York City) A slide (object onto which children climb and down which they slide).
shrugs
I've spent zero time in NY.
The closest I've ever been to New York was Palma de Mallorca
6291 kilometers apart
Wow, Palma is closer to Yekaterinburg: 5600 kilometers
So I've been almost in between Yekaterinburg and New York, but not closer.

@Robusto I own all the dichotomies, false or not. That's why I never pay you any royalties.

Now that is one epic name.
And there was I pondering whether I should call my concerto Susan or Jil.
I need a new hobby. Obviously I'm no good at this one.
Harpsichord and synthesizer, too.

@RegDwigнt Is that ... the time signature?

@Mitch It's probably a haiku
With poetic pauses in between

@tchrist I found this surprisingly easy to understand. The narrator, that is.
I wonder why.
Warning: very scary animal in the video.

@M.A.R. I cracked the code... those are the dates in June, July, and August of this year when it was edited, listing the days in order.
Why, I have no idea.
Ooh... it's what they call a 'honey code'.
You think you've cracked it because the pattern you get out of it makes sense, but it's actually the code for another message (by another algorithm) which when decoded spells out "ATTACK AT DAWN" (the extra dates are for error correction).
But that code was an embedded code, a second level of decoding necessary. And decoding that renders into "pi = 22/7"
That of course is a tautology, but the coding part is exactly what tautology is transmitted, and "pi = 22/7" corresponds to...

@Mitch well yeah it's a collection of dates. Point is, none of that stuff is put in there by the system. Not the time stamps, not the "(NEW)". All of it start to finish is what the composer actually manually typed into the field "name of the piece".
@Mitch precisely right.
@Mitch also precisely right.
@Mitch now you're just giving them too much credit. This not NASA. This MuseScore.

@RegDwigнt That's what they want you to believe. Mission Accomplished!

Hello, the blue square is back.
@RegDwigнt Sorry, I don't do hacking.
@Cerberus Yes, that was quite hard to believe, but there can be miracles when you believe.

@JaspervanLoy Apparently so!
How are things?

@Cerberus Do you like my new name? It's good to be Dutch!

@JaspervanLoy Haha.
"Loy" doesn't sound very Dutch. Perhaps "Looy" or "Looij"?

Which one is better?

Hmm, apparently "van Loy" is a Flemish name.
I suppose "van Looij" sounds the most Dutch, as in, from the country, not just the language Dutch.
But you can be Flemish, why not!

10:43 PM
I see. I understand what you are saying.
Let me make the changes now...
Tada!
It sounds good!

Nicely done!
Very Dutch.
