@RegDwigнt: No doubt you've seen this already:

@Cerberus Right. What do you call them? Onomatopoeic cognates? So, do you think regurgitate and gurgle may be related in that way?
Gorge comes close too, by the way.
@Cerberus Right. Thanks.

@Robusto yes I did. I found it very good, and more to the point, very important.

Hey guys
"If you do not have TOEFL or IELTS (for English), SAT or ACT (for Mathematics), ***or*** have not yet taken the ACCUPLACER test in English and Mathematics"
Is the starred "or" inclusive?
"If you do not have TOEFL or IELTS (for English), SAT or ACT (for Mathematics), or have not yet taken the ACCUPLACER test in English and Mathematics, you must register as soon as possible in order to register for the Foundation courses."

@Færd I watched it on mute with captions.
It was OK.
At some point she says 'Edomite'. I thought that was pretty brave of her.
@Færd Same to you, fella.

What tense would be better:
"Alice and Bob spoke on Monday the previous week."
or
"Alice and Bob have spoken on Monday the previous week."
They are on speaking terms and they speak regularly, a few times a month.

@NickAlexeev what is the context? The choice of tense depends entirely on the context.
And really "the previous week" heavily suggests that neither option will work and you're really lookiing for Past Perfect. But maybe you just mean "last week".
> [user1234] has added discussion "Check out my music some of them are not fully done!" in MuseScore Composers
Well that's bold.
I think I should go ahead and add the discussion "Check out my music all of them are fully done", then.
I did click on one of their scores at random and got this: musescore.com/user/32311913/scores/5612335
@Rob and there I was thinking I sucked at writing for the flute.
Oh wait, this one's even better: musescore.com/user/32311913/scores/5612043
How are you liking them flutes.

9:59 PM
@RegDwigнt Well, I liked it for the first 8 or 12 measures before the monotony kicked in. Also, someone oughta tell that guy that if anybody is going to solo it's going to be Flute 1, not Flute 2. Also, no need to have a complete orchestral stave after page 1 if the full orchestra isn't playing. Also, Flute 2 shouldn't have the more interesting (or more involved part). And I get that he likes flutes to play ostinato patterns, but usually you don't limit the entire piece to just that ...
@RegDwigнt Wait, what? Unless things have changed since the last century, flutes are not violins, and thus you cannot divisi two flutes into four parts. Also, see above: monotony.
BTW, I see I wrote stave when I meant staff. I hate when that happens.
And I hate people who do that. So ... I hate myself a little right now.

Here's a thing that nobody cares about: how about a FAQ but for main. I mean _really_ frequent questions. Here, I'll start:
- schadenfreude - or what's a word for being happy at someone else's misery. (what is going on that this is so popular?)
- a vs an
- thee vs thuh
- was vs had been
- is 'next Friday' this coming friday or the one after the nearest Friday? (also for Tuesday)
- my uncle's wife's brother (and all variations).
- plural possessive of Jones - apostrophe and where.
- funnily enough less vs fewer hardly appears
