NYTime on Duolingo Memrise and Babbel

Great short article. Later in the article they explain the 6 levels of CEFR (you know, the A1, A2,B1, B2, C1, C2). What it fails then to say is what level these apps get you to. Which is, being very liberal, barely to A1. Maybe Babbel part way to A2 because of its conversations.
