Is there a better alternative for "wake up" in this context?
"If you want to make your dreams come true, the first thing you have to do is wake up"
I think "wake up" doesn't mean "stop sleeping", It means something like "think about yourself, your targets in life, the universe and .."

@Shafizadeh Especially in the context of dreaming, the first thing readers will think of, when they read wake up, is to stop sleeping and leave the dream.
However, that would be a kind of paradox.
So the reader will be looking for a hidden meaning.

The site is loading slowly for me. It happens once or so a month.

And the sense of wake up "realise what you are doing, be aware of your situation and think about" is also very common. So readers may think of that immediately as they realise it is a paradox.

@TRiG Wow, that's some serious bureauspeak there.
I'm glad the translation people are working on it.

@Cerberus I've not read it all yet, but I can't imagine anything surpassing actorness.

Yeah, that one is quite incredible.
Never seen it.
I have seen "state actors", which is indeed very ugly.
Just say "states".
Or "governments".

@Cerberus Nor, I'm glad to say, have I.
(People often complain about the nonsense they see on Facebook. I see very little nonsense. My Fb friends are more likely to share this sort of thing.)

(I rarely look at the page on Facebook where they show random things, so I wouldn't know.)
I go there with a specific action in mind, such as replying to a message.
