10:00 PM
Or you could say English has two roots: a very deep one, and an equally thick, but somewhat shorter one.

We appear to have only 11 unique hats on our site. I can't believe Maths is going to whup us.

patience

No. We're totally sunk without Reg.

is Reg not hatting?

Well, he has two, so he's not refusing to hat at least.

10:09 PM
I've got one without even trying.

Hi @MετάEd.

@KitZ.Fox Howdy!

I am Batfox!

@KitZ.Fox That is HILARIOUS!

10:25 PM
Oh my god. It's MY doctor.
Gotta get that one.

Tom Baker is your doctor?

@KitZ.Fox Your icon is now officially scary. Congratulations.

@KitZ.Fox Yep. Jelly baby?

@MετάEd Oh, yes, thank you.

my attempt at Copernicus! english.stackexchange.com/a/293981/9001 ("answer +3 a question with accepted answer")

10:36 PM
I will note that for when I get my votes refilled. Looks like a good answer.
I just noticed that @MετάEd looks like my favorite therapist.

thanks! contains original research and everything, and antedatings to send back to the OED :)

11:07 PM
@KitZ.Fox Who's your favorite therapist?

@MετάEd Jack Keefe.
@Hugo I would expect as much from your posts. Always very thorough.

user174558
My posts are always very short.

Anonymous
My posts are infrequent!

@KitZ.Fox These days I look a bit like the six fingered man.

Well, now you're a Cyberman with a Santa Hat disguised as The Doctor, @MετάEd. Now you do not look like my favorite therapist.

11:19 PM
@MετάEd You should watch Wrong Turn. There is a character called Three Fingers.

"Get some rest. If you haven't got your health, then you haven't got anything."

user174558
The last movie I watched was All The Boys Like Mandy Lane.

@KitZ.Fox I got my doctor hat!

user174558
I like to watch these movies where one by one die and you see some boobs as well.

@MετάEd I see that. I would have to look at your other pic again to decide if you look like Christopher Guest though.

My mum got 75 dollars of vouchers which expire today. She went to the cake shop and bought like 10 cakes or something. Now I am going to get fat.

Freeze them and only eat one per week.

user174558
My favourite cake is tiramisu.

user174558
One cannot breathe through the mouth when eating this, or the powder will get into the lungs.

user174558
Although there are several English movies on Jesus Christ, there are almost none on Gautama Buddha.

I read that Matt Damon is returning for the fifth Bourne movie, when he did not for the fourth.

11:31 PM
I didn't realize he wasn't in the fourth. I don't think I watched it.

@Mitch - 1st degree burns do well with aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflamatories. Second degree with particular dressings, expecially the newer biological dressings, but some naturopathic stuff as well, like ... I'm blanking... oh, allantoin, one of my favorite healing agents. Third degree, well... that's a whole 'nother beast.

@anongoodnurse oh just 1st degree sunburn (or stove burn). Really, 'naturopathic'. That's not like homeopathy is it?

I burned my finger on the toaster oven tray yesterday. Randomly.

Augh! Put it under water!

Considering I had baked about four rounds of cookies and prepared three different hot dishes on the stove.
... huh. I did a lot of cooking yesterday.

11:46 PM
The toaster! Put it under water!

@Mitch It's fine. Just a shiny slightly purple splotch under my knuckle.

It appeases the toaster gods.

@Mitch No, naturopaths actually practice alternative medicine. Homeopaths do almost nothing that has been proven to help with the exception of their treatment of poison ivy. (imho)

hahaha

Obviously
@JasperLoy s/one by one die/anything happens

11:48 PM
My hat looks silly on my little avatar. :(

I'll have to look it up. Guilt by sounding weird.
But poison ivy?

@Mitch I think you are missing a colon.

checks bowels
hold on this will take a while
_ don't tell me you didn't expect this_

I would not say any such thing.

@KitZ.Fox I don't think I have a good current photo that shows that anyway.

11:51 PM
Oh. I blame my phone. And eyesight. And those tiny little angels floating around my face.

@Mitch Oooh, I'd like to hear the unstructured Latin argument. I find it appealingly structures; so few ambiguities. Maybe because I only know some, not a whole lot.

Yea just one colon but my phone is a pain to use to edit old stuff. (Old stuff=anything)

@Mitch yes. It turns out that homeopathic dosages of poison ivy are actually good at desensitizing. Like allergy shots.

Ok. You're forcing my hand. Also my legs. I have to walk to get to a better typing source.

I can't seem to do much of anything on my phone. Or maybe even off of it.

11:58 PM
@Mitch ftfy
You can't edit after two minutes anyway, mortal.

@anongoodnurse Then that dose shouldn't be homoeopathic, should it?
It should be higher, or no molecules of the poison will be present in the "solution" at all.
